Can one do an inplace upgrade of OS from RHEL5 to RHEL6 for IAM 11GR2 PS1?

Can one do an inplace upgrade of OS from RHEL5 to RHEL6 for IAM 11GR2 PS1?
Currently this is the infrastructure we have:
oam-oim integrated 11GR2 PS1 version on RHEL 5
soa,ovd and oid and admin server components also on RHEL 5
webgate 10g on RHEL 6.
Would this require relinking of libraries?
Any other issues that we need to look into after the OS upgrade?
Thanks
