I have a bunch of accounts that finish with 'X' and I want to remap them to a different entity than where they were posted in ledger

I am trying to use the below code - the first case works fine. The second case does not work. I have tried changing LIKE to = and that also does not work. Any ideas?

CASE

WHEN ud2 = '8' THEN 'BRH_MAD'

WHEN ACCOUNT LIKE '*X' THEN 'BRH_MAD'

END

Have you tried; -

CASE

WHEN ud2 = '8' THEN 'BRH_MAD'

WHEN ACCOUNT LIKE '%X' THEN 'BRH_MAD'

END

I assumed your backend DB was Oracle, where wildcards are %

Note you can also use underscore for wildcard on a single character.
