Data Management Setup in TEST vs PROD

An Oracle Engineer indicated that DM configuration has to be setup separately in the TEST and PROD environments and should not be overwritten since there is different source and destinations.

In PBCS TEST, can we configure both sources (2 sources-ERP-TEST and ERP-PROD) and target, import format, location, period mapping, data load mapping, and rules where the setup is copied over and only has to be updated?

My guess is NO since the destination is two different applications (PBCS-PROD and PBCS-TEST) and the import format, location are unique to each target.

Anyone's input is greatly appreciated.

I don't understand this statement, what is the difference in the source and target?  I assume you are referring to fusion cloud as the source?

    Cheers

Source is ERP - PROD and TEST

Target is PBCS application - PROD And TEST

Import Format - has to choose a source and Target

Location - has to choose Import Format

Location is used in the Data Load Mapping/Data Load Rule
