Hi,

I have a string input to my BPEL process. I need to check if the string input is a valid date or not and then only insert into database. Can somebody help me out with this check in xslt.

Thanks in advance.

Use a Validate activity to check the date element.

Note: If its not a date then it will throw error - invalidVariables exception. You can have the Validate activity inside a scope with a catch fault to handle the fault.

If there's no fault, do your transformation and insert, in case of fault skip.
