Hi everyone,

When I am trying to install CloverETL Integrator client on my Windows laptop, I am getting the below error...

---------- Error --------------

Extracting Eclipse ...

The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

Installation failed. Extracting Eclipse package file failed.

-------------------------------

I am using EID 3.2 version and downloaded relevant eclipse-java-indigo-SR2-win32-x86_64.zip and RSE-runtime-3.5-GA.zip to install Integrator.

Please note, the same softwares worked fine earlier. But recently I had to format my laptop due to some OS issues and after recent format, I am unable to install CloverETL Integrator.

Request you to help me on this.

Thanks,

Harish

    Hi Vijay,

    Thanks for your response.

I am following this document How to install Oracle Endeca ETL Integrator ( Doc ID 2378289.1).

I have found the issue and workaround as well. I had set the JAVA_HOME as "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_131" and 'install.bat' file is considering the JAVA_HOME as "C:\Program" as there is a space in the path. I have modified the 'install.bat' and hard-coded the JAVA_HOME path and tried the installation and it worked fine.

Ofcourse, this is not a permanent fix but it worked for me.

    Thanks,

    Harish
