Any priority channel in Federated cache?

Hi all,

We have been using Oracle Coherence along with Oracle Incubator for replication between clusters over a global WAN.

There are files which needs to be replicated with higher priority than other files. That's why we set up two channels in Incubator to the same destination. The only difference between two channels are the filter applied(ie. check if this object is high priority). That's how we route our data to different channels.

Since we are going to upgrade to, we are looking into Federated cache and wondering if there is a way to do something similar?

I think you will find that federation is much faster than Push Replication in federating data to other clusters.  While there is no priority channel per se, I urge you to try out federation - the need for a priority channel may no longer be necessary.

    Hope this helps,
