We have recently updated the Discoverer 11g which caused to reset the "Query Governor" option for all users.

Please let me know How to Set Query Governor Options at Server Level as we have more or less 400 users for whom we need to do the settings.

We want to set option on server level to apply the settings for all the users.

The query governor settings for Plus and Viewer are done in the preferences file (pref.txt).  You will find the settings under the [Application] tag.
ItemClassDelay, PredictionThresholdSeconds, PredictionThresholdSecondsEnabled, QueryTimeLimit, QueryTimeLimitEnabled, RowFetchLimit, RowFetchLimitEnabled, and MaxRowsPerFetch.  See note below for file locations.  Once changed you must then run the applypreferences script.  These settings do not impact Discoverer Desktop.

You can also set these limits using Discoverer Administrator software.  These settings impact every edition of Discoverer.  Setting the limits for the "Public" user will impact every user as long as nothing is overridden at the Role/Responsibility or User level.  See note below for explaination of the different levels.

    Hi Sharon,

I am not able to trace "Public" user in Discoverer Administrator. I am able to update the Query Governor settings for a single user at a time but want to do it on public level for all users.

    Regards,
    Salah

The user name is "Public".  You could also alter things at Responsibility/Role level.
