Hello What do you think about the future of Oracle Web Center Sites? I heard the project closed, is this true?

Oracle WebCenter Sites 11g is deprecated now and only 12c version (that too only the latest ones) are available, so the project is not closed as of now. Infact, there is 12c 12.2.1.4.0 on its way for release (@LiisaU-Oracle do you any idea of the release date?)
If you are building microsites, then Oracle Content and Experience Cloud service (Oracle CEC) is another option available.
