For local direct mode connections encryption is not relevant and makes no sense. For client/server connections, as of TimesTen 18.1.2 TLS support is available on a 'by request' basis. TLS encryption for both client/server and replication will be formally supported in an upcoming 18.1 release.
If you need TLS support right now, please provide contact details and I will contact you directly to discuss.

As I said in my original reply:

Once the features is generally available I'll be happy to share details. In the meantime we want to work closely with any customers who need this feature right now.

UPDATE: TLS encryption is now fully supported and documented for both client/server traffic and replication traffic as of TimesTen 18.1.4.1.0.
