Hyperion shared services deployment shows as Failed in weblogic server

Recently, we have installed and configured 11.1.2.4.0 version of Hyperion suit in distributed environment. The installation went well, but when we verified the weblogic console deployed applications the shared services component state shows as failed. When we verified the RDBMS(Oracle) tables related to shared services,there we saw that some of the tables (as per Oracle datamodels document) were not created which were supposed to be. The tables like LCM_Migration,LCM_Migration_Task,LCM_Migration_TASK_DETAILS, also table names start with QRTZ( like-QRTZ_BLOB_TRIGGERS,QRTZ_CALENDARS etc.,) and table names start with SMA (like SMA_APPLICATION_CONFIG_MAP,SMA_AUDIT_AREA_DIM etc.,) were not created in Oracle RDBMS.

Not sure what went wrong during the configuration. Appreciate, your help to resolve this issue.

Hi ,

It may have not created the table due to permission issue. You may check if the user running configuration has the following privileges :

The following privileges must be granted to the owners of the database schemas:

l CREATE ANY SYNONYM

l CREATE CLUSTER

l CREATE INDEXTYPE

l CREATE PROCEDURE

l CREATE SEQUENCE

l CREATE SESSION

l CREATE TABLE

l CREATE TRIGGER

l CREATE TYPE

l CREATE VIEW

l DROP ANY SYNONYM

You could recreate those tables by running the script for create_oracle_scheduler and cms from the folder "\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Foundation\server\conf ".
