Discoverer cannot be installed on the Windows10 system by Oracle. Therefore we have no Discoverer tool installed on our system.

We need to know the method to extract the SQL queries of the Discoverer 11g report.

It is not possible to extract the SQL because Discoverer workbooks are stored in the EUL in binary.  This is why you must use Discoverer to get the SQL.  You can use either Desktop or Discoverer Plus to get the SQL.  There is no other way to extract the SQL.

If you're trying to install Discoverer Desktop or Administrator on the Windows 10 system, please perform steps from this article

Here's extract from the "Install Discoverer Administrator and Desktop":

Download Oracle BI Discoverer Desktop and Discoverer Administrator here.

Unzip installer and run setup.exe under Disk1\install\win32
This is one that worked for my 64bit Windows Home basic. Then follow installation screens.

I got an error straight after installation, when I tried to launch the application:

Error: dis51usr.exe - System Error   The program cant start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Simple solution can be found in MOS note 1255244.1. You just download MSVCR71.dll from and place it into C:\Windows\System32 directory, if you are using a 32-bit Windows or into C:\Windows\SysWOW64 if you using a 64-bit Windows machine.

The download location you provided is for Fusion Middleware Portal, Forms, Reports and Discoverer  This is not the standalone Discoverer Administrator / Desktop client software.  Also note this is not the Full software that can be installed.  The download ONLY contains Patch Set 6, which is  You must already have the full installation using version before you can apply Patch Set 6.
Most product versions under Sustaining Support are not available on eDelivery.  You will need to follow the instructions found in MOS Note 1071023.1 (How to Request Software When Unable to Access or Software is Unavailable on the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud) to create a NON technical SR with Media services.  Make sure to specify Discoverer Administrator & Desktop version for Windows.  Note, Discoverer is a 32 bit application, there is no 64 bit option for Desktop/Admin.

Discoverer Administration and Desktop client software is certified / supported on native 32 bit Windows systems.  The only 64 bit Windows Platform supported is Windows 7 in XP mode only.  There are many issues occurring due to 64 bit Windows systems.  Windows 8 and Windows 10 are neither certified or supported and may well cause issues/fail.  See Note 233047.1 for certification FAQs and how to find certification information.
