How to Filter OEM notifications

We would like to filter out very specific notifications from OEM 13R3.  We could like to know how to set that up.

example:

We are getting a notification that looks like this:

Incident (ORA 800) detected in /opt/oracle/diag/rdbms/wso2dev4/wso2dev4/alert/log.xml at time/line number: Thu May 7 13:22:51 2020/81248.

We like to stop all notification that has ORA 800 in them. Could someone explain a step by step process to accomplish that?

Thanks

    Hi,

This incident is triggered through the Alert Log Monitoring metric.

You can update the filter based on your need which would filter your ORA errors from alert log before alerting.

    Reference:

EM 13c, EM 12c: Database Alert Log Monitoring in Enterprise Manager Cloud Control and Alert Log Metrics Explained (Doc ID 1538482.1)

    Example:

    .*ORA-0*(54|1142|1146|00060|604|609|1013|800)\D.*

The above expression will take care of ORA-0800

If the ORA error is ORA-800, then you can define as below:

    .*ORA-0*(54|1142|1146|00060|604|1013)\D.*|.*ORA-800

    Best Regards,

    Venkat
