I am in the middle of this case, I executed the emcli command to convert a single standby database to a cluster database, but I have the issue described in the document (Doc ID 2222668.1), so,

Does anyone know if there is already a patch for this case or if it can be resolved somehow?

The command that I executed is something like this:

emcli convert_to_cluster_database -sourceTargetName="databaseNamestby.world" -sysdbaCreds="SYS_CREDS" -hostCreds="ORACLE_CREDS"

ERROR:

The instance prefix is invalid. Give a prefix with maximum 8 characters.It may be different from SID of existing single-instance database.
