ODI 12c XML Closed Connection Error

Hi,

I am using ODI 12.2.1c and as part of my project I need to generate complex XML file from database. it works fine without any issue but after running few weeks it continuously gives closed connection error until we restart ODI application server. After restarting I have to remove all temp tables created from XML DTD in my define database and perform test connection again to get those tables back and then it all work again.  Looking for a permanent solution.

ODI-1228: Task Create staging (C$) table-LKM SQL to SQL (Built-In)- fails on the target connection DS_XXX_YYYY.

Caused By: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: Closed Connection

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am having a similar issue. What were you able to do to resolve this?

We upgraded to latest version 12.2.1.2.4 and haven't seen that error after that.

Thanks for the response. We are on Data Integrator Version 12.2.1. Build ODI_12.2.1.4.0_GENERIC_190913.1025.

Did you try this patch from oracle?

I am not sure if I am already on a current version of ODI or not. This is what I have.

I am not sure if I am supposed to go by the version or the build. What do you think?

I have the same version as you. However, did you try applying the patch that I shared earlier?

I haven't applied the patch yet.

You may try and see if it works or not. I think my DBA applied that.
