OIM AD Password Sync Connector question

I have a question about OIM AD password sync connector, that is used to synchronize passwords between AD and OIM.

The Oracle Identity Manager Connector for Microsoft Active Directory Password Synchronization captures passwords changed on the target system and propagates them to Oracle Identity Manager.

Now question is if it is possible to sync password to two OIM environments?- say one is 11g OIM and other is 12c OIM in migration scenario.

If not, then what are other options?

I guess it will work for both the oim environments if both are connecting to same connector server which is then communicating with the target.

    OIM 1

                       -------------     Connector Server ------------- AD

    OIM 2

Or am I missing something for this use case scenario's understanding?
