EPM 11.2.2 Configuration fails

user640852 Member Posts: 39

The "Deploy to Application server" tasks fail for all (Foundation, HFM etc).

Server 2019

Oracle Db.

Has anyone faced the issue? Based on entries in configtool.log it appears to be program issues not something in user control. For example,

javax.script.ScriptException: TypeError: env.isWindows is not a function in <eval> at line number 1

Caused by: <eval>:1 TypeError: env.isWindows is not a function

Is one of the errors.

Could you try running the EPM Configurator as an administrator and see if that issue go away. I recall running into this issue without running as an administrator. Also ensure UAC setting in control panel is set to low.

I tried that but ran into other errors perhaps I should uninstall it first. And try.

BTW did you get to successfully configure 11.2.2?

Yeah, configured successfully in Windows. What is the other error you are seeing now?

It went fine for us. Please go through the download Zip files and check if there is any missed one.

    Hi Krishna / dwhpc

Thanks for your comments. Once I cleaned everything out, reinstalled, thanks to UAC Configuration works. No issues.

However, I find Oracle HTTP server is not there as a service anymore unlike in EPM Does it mean it has failed to install/configure?

I noticed during install, when I checked the box for Oracle HTTP server, it said folder not found \null\Win64. But based on advise in Oracle support, I ignored that message and it installed. (Actually it hanged for several minutes during that part of install in a command window but that went away when I pressed enter)

The config all tasks shows completed, no issues.

But I could not find service for OHS.

Is there any special step that is not in document?

There will be a node manager service for OHS in the Windows service panel. Oracle Weblogic ohs NodeManager (C_Oracle_MIDDLE~1_ohs_server)

    After starting that,

    >Start Oracle HTTP Server from the command line from EPM_ORACLE_INSTANCE\httpConfig\ohs\bin,

        startComponent ohs_component

    > Enter the WebLogic Admin Server password.

Refer oracle note: Doc ID 2627363.1

Sorry please ignore the comments on OHS I realise there's manual steps needed to start it.

Find it in the install guide.

Good to hear that your issue is resolved.

EPM 11.2 use Oracle HTTP Server 12c and it does not create service. We need to start from command prompt as below

    from Middleware_Home\user_projects\epmsystem1\httpConfig\ohs\bin\ folder

    startComponent ohs_component

If you want to avoid entering weblogic password every time add this parameter while starting "storeUserConfig"
