Database 18c Standard Edition: Configuring RADIUS Authentication with CHAP Authentication Scheme

We have successfully configured RADIUS Authentication on an Oracle Database 18c Standard Edition, connecting to a RADIUS server on a Windows Server 2016. The parameter for challenge response is set to SQLNET.RADIUS_CHALLENGE_RESPONSE=off, corresponding to our RADIUS server configuration, which is synchronous.

Analyzing the RADIUS server we realize that the Oracle Database appears to send the authentication request using the PAP Authentication Scheme. However, we need to enable CHAP Authentication Scheme for advanced security reasons.

Does anybody know if CHAP Authentication Scheme can be enabled for Oracle Database RADIUS Authentication and if yes, how this can be achieved? Many thanks in advance for any advice.
