it will be very useful that the dgmgrl allow make some sql commands or statements like in previuosly rman versions you could execute using the clausule sql '';

for example when you use dgmgrl, you could have only one opened terminal, and need to execute an system switch logfile.

in 12c , rman is more intelligent and afordable because you can execute sql statements without the sql''.

maybe ib 20c or newer version dgmgrl  could be more powerfull.
