I want to start off to say this is all in a test environment. I have two Oracle 18c DBs. I have GG 19 Classic set up in a separate hub config that connects via the Oracle client software on the hub server. I want to learn more about Microservices. What is the best approach to convert that classic GG setup to Microservices? Thanks in advance.

As of now, we don't have a method to upgrade from Classic to Microservices. This is because, the architecture is entirely different between Classic and Microservices.
The steps would be,
- Get a downtime. Application should be stopped. No data flow should be on the system. It is better to do in tech window (if production environment).
- Make sure all the transactions are processed by the GG processes.
- Stop all the GG processes in Classic GG home including Manager.
- Create the processes in Microservices Home.
- Start the processes.
I have written few articles in OGG Microservices which are below and might be useful to you.
