how to log in to Enterprise Manager if Adobe Flash Player is not supported ?
If anyone has any knowledge about this it would be much appreciated.
in Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13c I don't had any problem with login page, only Top Activity page was affected.
The official answer is upgrade OEM to 13.4, but if you need to admin some databases in OCI that are still 12.2 or 18c with dbconsole, you can do the following:
Install Oracle Linux 6 in VirtualBox, then sever the host time link.
VBoxManage setextradata oel610 "VBoxInternal/Devices/VMMDev/0/Config/GetHostTimeDisabled" 1
Install flash-plugin as shown:
Download adobe-release rpm from
Install olea-repo-release rpm:
# rpm -Uvh adobe-release*rpm
Install flash-plugin rpm package:
# yum install flash-plugin
Set the date back a year to 2020:
[[email protected] ~]# date +%D -s 2020-02-29
[[email protected] ~]# date
Sat Feb 29 00:00:03 CET 2020
[[email protected] ~]# rpm -qa | grep flash
Wouldn't there be another simpler solution?
The simpler solution is install OEM 13.4 as recommended above.
@mdtaylor If I need to admin the Oracle Database 220.127.116.11, what tool I can use ?
I have 2 18.104.22.168 databases in OCI that I admin. I use both flash-plugin on VirtualBox and OEM 13.4 with Hybrid Cloud. the VirtualBox solution is easier to setup. The VM I setup only uses 1G RAM and 14G disk, so it requires minimal resources.
Best solution is to upgrade to 13.4, this is recommended by Oracle. I did it last weekend.
