If both the source database and target database are RAC databases, will the Oracle Golden Gate 19c Microservices Architecture instances will also required to be of RAC?

Please clarify.

Thanks

    Hi,

If during cluster node failures, you would like GoldenGate to automatically restart on a surviving node, you can make use of Oracle Grid Infrastructure Agent to integrate OGG with RAC and CRS.

Even for a RAC database, you can use Goldengate running on a single node. In this case, in case of a node failure, the GG services will be down.

    Regards,
