Torrents?

Can you download Oracle Linux using Torrents to get more bandwidth and have the ability to pause/resume the download?

Torrents are dependent on others that host those files. I don't think that many users would host Oracle Linux as a torrent because the mirrors that provide the files are mostly fast enough. Akamai is doing a good job hosting the files from what I can see.

The download still takes a while given the large filesize. If user's connections are limited in speed the ability to resume the download would be great.
I am not sure if it would be possible to wget the ISO on a VPS, run 7z to split the file and use WinSCP to download the parts. But this would still use redundant bandwidth on the VPS...

I was able to Download Oracle 7,8,9. No torrents isn't a big deal, but a thought for future reference if anyone needs the ability to pause/resume the download and the HTTP mirrors don't support partial downloads, another option might be rsync https://community.oracle.com/tech/apps-infra/discussion/4417703/downloading-oracle-linux and verify the ISOs...
