HCM Data Loader Business Object Tables

I am new to HDL so bare with me. I am in the exploratory stages of a data conversion project from legacy HRMS to HCM Cloud and we want to use HDL to load the data. How do I determine what database table(s) are loaded for a specific business object? If I use the Location business object along with the location.dat file, how do I determine what database tables will be loaded if I want to do data validation after the load?
