testing oracle Upgrade on DataGaurd using snapshot

Dear All,

there is a requirement where we have to upgrade 12c rac database to 19c we have tried once but it took around 4 to 5 hrs. and it was not progressing so we decided to canceled it and restore from flashback .

now oracle has suggested to test it with DR and see how it goes .

to do this activity i am looking for any pre-requesting steps and document which can guide me properly .
