Is there tutorial on how to set up ceph on OL8?

Which repository or repositories do I need?

I've been reading web pages all week but none of them are clear on where to get the software. Secure shell, python, git, etc I can find but the part where I install the ceph daemons seems to be missing.

Oracle does not distribute 'ceph' for Oracle Linux 8 or Oracle Linux 9.

Feel free to check the upstream Ceph website https://ceph.io for information. You can try installing the upstream Ceph code (current release is Quincy) on Oracle Linux 8. Oracle is not distributing or supporting Ceph on Oracle Linux 8, so we don't document installing or using it.

OK. I now realize I am looking for a beast that does not exist. There *is* a repository for Ceph 3.0 with OL7 but not for any revision on OL8. I guess I will have to go back to the drawing board on this one...
