P6 Partial Task Closing - Linking to Budget

Hi All,

I am having trouble closing down partial tasks that span over several months. Currently i have been managing this by adding in additional balancing task to remove the spent budget, but this seems lengthy and im sure there must be some functionality to manage this through partial task completion

Is it possible to manually add a "percentage complete" for tasks task and have this automatically update my remaining budget? If so how can this be done.

Any help would be much appreciated
