Good morning, I'm Barbara and I'm a beginner with Oracle Java Developer.
I'd like to create some portlets using Oracle Portlet Factory. I have this problem:
when I'm creating a new application (following the tutorial Introduction, Create a Factory project) at the step:
-> "Create WebApp Project"
I have this error: barbara1/WEB-INF/work/source (missing)
Could you help me?
Best Regards
Barbara

Are you using JDev 10g or 11g?

jdev 10.1.3.4.0

I create an application and chose the application template: WebCenter Application. It comes with 3 projects. One of them is called portlet.
I right-clicked on the Portlet project, chose new, portlets, and created a JSR 168 Portlet. I went through the wizard and once it's done, you right click again on the web.xml file to create a war deployment profile. Then you just need to deploy it. If you are still having issues with your jdev, try to close jdev, backup you system directory under JDEV_USER_DIR, remove it and start jdev again.
Hope this helps.
