HFM - Application Tables - DCE, DCN etc

Can anyone please explain what all the different types of Database Application tables are.
I'm am upgrading from 4.0.2 to 9.3.1 and have sql to check the base data is correct - it would be good to know what i was checking and the main tables to look at

Bryan,
The DCE tables store <Entity Currency> and <Parent Currency> values and the related adjustments. The DCN tables store data for the remaining members of the value dimension. The DCT tables store the journal transactions - when the journals are posted, the data values flow to the DCE and/or DCN tables. Hope this helps!
