How to make the Portlet edit Page appear in shared view mode

Hello All,
I am using Webcenter framework for an application and I have a few portlets on a Page say WelcomePage.jspx.
Now when I am trying to personalize a portlet, webcenter takes me to the portlet edit page which occupies the entire page(moves away from WelcomePage.jspx) and upon pressing the OK button returns to the WelcomePage.jspx page.
My problem is, I want to display the edit page for that portlet in the same portlet window. i.e... When a user selects the personalize action, the contents of the portlet should reflect the edit page and upon pressing Save or OK button should display the personalized content ... with out navigating away from the WelcomePage.jspx page...
Is this possible in current release of Webcenter (10gR3) ??
Thanks
Manoj
