Hi,
I couldn't find the link to download wlp816. Then I tried the BEA WebLogic Portal 10.2. Then it leads me to oracle download. After I choose Platform ( I think I have 64-bit) there isn't much for 64-bit windows. Eventually I found it under 32-bit. What is the significance of "32-bit" part in the product name "WebLogic Portal 10.2 for Microsoft Windows (32-bit)"? Can I still use it? Where can I get wlp816? Thanks

    Hi,

after Oracle acquired BEA old versions are only available through support request. I found out about that today... :D

Choice between 32-bit and 64-bit depends on the version of your operating system: if you have 64-bit Windows then go for the 64-bit version, otherwise stick to the 32-bit version. Note that having a 64-bit CPU doesn't yet dictate which version you need.

    Best regards,

On http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/bea_main.html page to download 10.3 version, there isn't a link for platform. Does that mean I have to download 4 separate files for wls, wlp, wli and workshop?
I wonder if I have (will have) Vista, what version do I need?

    Hi,

The WLP download at least includes wls and workshop as well. WLI you need to download separately. The BEA platform packaging is gone, I believe.
Grab the Windows x86 32-bit version. See also this page

    Best regards,
    Petri
