Hi Experts,
I'm having a dashboard which has two sections. one has one report and another has another report. When a user opens this dashboard there should be a prompt which is asking for which one to show. user have to select either section 1 or section 2 and he should see what he meant. How to do this?
Please help.

Karthick

Hello,
yaa.. this can be done using guided navigation properties for conditional sections.
See this...
http://oraclebizint.wordpress.com/2008/01/17/oracle-bi-101332-selecting-reports-from-dashboard-prompts-and-guided-navigation-sections/
In your case.. you have to write a query which shows... Section1 and Section2 in prompt.
And need to create 2 reports with Section1 as filter and Section2 as another filter.
Apply the guided navigation properties for each sections in dashboard as shown in that article...
Hope it helps
