Unable to import custom table in the physical layer

Background
**********
We are implementing OBI Applications
The RPD is the OBI applications (Analytics) one. We have created custom tables and now are in the process of building the logical layer.
Problem
*******
Created a new custom table in the physical OBAW using the OBI username (owner of analytics objects)
Logged in to BI Admin in offline mode using Administrator username/pwd
Used import table utility, selected the appropriate custom table (you can see it in the dialog box) from the warehouse. It brings up the dialog box and it looks like it is importing the table (the graphic shows the file flying across).
Refreshed the rpd. Even tried logging out and in again.
When you check the physical layer you cannot see the custom table. Is there any cache that needs to be cleared?

Yes it did. We then dragged them across from the other connection pool to the out of the box folder and proceeded.
On another note does this have any issues with privileges on those objects?
