Hi,

We login to BR with a valid user. When we goto create a BR against a Planning source we are denied. However we can create a BR against a Essbase source. Here's the error:

Error connecting to Essbase server cwa-epmplan1/ClasTest.
Detail:Could not log in to Planning Server

Oracle support has not been able to help us.

Thanks,

sam

Is your planning application an EPMA application created on V11? If so you cannot use business rules against it and must use calculation manager.

Nope. It's classic planning app. Sorry forgot to disclose that as I'm a little green on EPMA.

Is the RMI server up an answering -- 11333 I believe is the port. Has Oracle walked you through enabling debugging and reviewing the log files?

I suggest you ask them to escalate to a higher level resource at this point in time also.

    Hi!

Try opening the Planning application first and then try to select the Planning outline in Business Rules editor.

    kind regards,

Check the setting in HBRSever.properties file in the webserver. Had similar issue, that the BR couldn't be associated to the right outline.

    Cheers,

Hi the only HBRServer.properties file I could find was on the Planning Server and it looks like it hasn't been configured. What is the directory and server of the file you commented about. Here is what mine looks like on our test environment and everything is working ok on test.. Thus this must be wrong one.

    Resolved:

Issue is with SSH the SSH ware running in two sys and conflict issue.

Restored the Open DAP and suggested the client to re start the Service and server ones.

Client can successfully able to log to EAS and to BR now.

Couple of BR access issue is resolved by provision and Refresh of Manage database.
