hi, I have found an article for translation on obiee
[http://oraclebizint.wordpress.com/2007/10/29/oracle-bi-ee-101332-presentation-layer-translation/]
but this method only affects the name of presentation columns.
is it possbile to set the language of the obiee by a session variable (may be a system session variable) ?
because in my obiee, the dropdownlist for language selection is hide

Yes, the name of this session variable is WEBLANGUAGE :

I found that the value of the session variable WEBLANGUAGE cannot be assigned.
it is readonly
