Could you please let me know how to change the member properties (like dense ,sparse or Dyanamic Calc,Store,DC&s..etc) once the outline is created.

  • Hi Hareesh,

You can create a dimension build rule to change member propeties:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/eashelp/setdatst.htm

To set dimensions as Dense or Sparse:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/esb_dbag/frameset.htm?dotrules.htm

    Cheers,
    Mehmet

Thanks for the reply.I can edit the properties by opening the Outline in Edit mode using EAS.I would like to do the same using maxl script so that i can automate the process instead of asking users change the properties.

Could you please let me know by any means that can be done using maxl scripting..

    Regards
    HG
