FDMEE vs FASTTRACK

Hi,
I have seen a tool for SAP integration with EPM (Enhancing SAP Hyperion Integration | EPM Fasttrack). Has any one used it before? which one should one use?
FDMEE or FASTTRACK if only SAP integration is required.

Never heard of it before. If you want my opinion stick with FDMEE

Go for whatever you feel meets your requirements, everyone will have a different opinion, but at the end of the day it is only yours or the end customers that counts

Have you used Fasttrack?

Stay with FDMEE. FDMEE is proven and worked very well. No idea about Fasttrack
But also try posting same question in SAP community and see what they have to say..
This is OTN and most of the people may have bias about Oracle

Thanks for help. You know of any other tool for SAP integration with EPM.

ODI is the other tool you can look for if you are not choosing FDMEE.

ODI do have inbuilt adapters for the Hyperion Planning & Essbase (for HFM need some minor tweak in ODI 12c)

Thanks. If i choose ODI i have to write all the queries and create all the data source and other things? correct?
What advantage do i have of ODI over FDMEE?
-
Correct, ODI do have flexibility of customizing the SQL (during retrieval or during pushing the data). But even in FDMEE you could always rely on Open interface (where it allows you to manipulate the data as you want).
Also remember FDMEE = FDM + ODI, so my choice is 1# FDMEE then 2# ODI.

FDMEE has a restricted use license for ODI which in effect means that you can only use ODI for integrations that are kicked off from and flow through the FDMEE workflow. Also the end target application has to be Hyperion application it cannot be a custom application. So the benefit of using ODI as a standalone product is that you don't have those restrictions so could use it for loading metadata as well as data the the Hyperion applications, as well as targetting non Hyperion applications.
However if your requirements are primarily data loads to Hyperion applications then FDMEE would be the sensible option
