How to get Alta UI Skin in JCS-SaaS extension

Hi all,
I am currently using Jdev 11.1.1.7.1 for deploying ADF application to JCS-SaaS Extension as recommended. But, I need to get the look and feel of the application same as Oracle Fusion. As Jdev 11.1.1.7.1 does not provide alta skin family and as 11.1.1.9 is providing alta skin for development, can I deploy an application into JCS-SaaS extension developed using 11.1.1.9 version.
Please help me know whether the approach is right and does JCS-SaaS extension support 11.1.1.9 application , or any other way to get alta look and feel.
Thanks,
Lalitha

Hi Lalitha,
You can use Alta UI skin with JDev 11.1.1.9. You can deploy the same on JCS-Sx but before that you need to migrate the JCS-SX PS6 to PS7 to get Alta UI skin working. Please refer the below doc for details on migration:
Hope it helps.

Hi Vikash,
Thanks for your reply.
The JCS-SX service version we are using is 17.2.6.0.0.
So, from the information provided above, can I deploy the application developed in Jdev 11.1.1.9 to JCS-SX to get Alta look and feel? Are they supported?
Please help so that I can start using Jdev 11.1.1.9.
Thanks,
Lalitha

Hi Lalitha,
Can you please tell when your JCS-SX was provisioned. If it is provisioned after 13 Feb 2017, then Alta UI is supported, else you need to migrate from PS6 to PS7. In both the cases , you can use JDev 11.1.1.9 either with migration or without migration depending on when it was provisioned.
Thanks

Hi Vikash,
Thanks for early reply.
The JCS-SX service start date is Jun-2016. So, this need to be upgraded to PS7 as you mentioned.
And, if we are going to purchase JCS-SX newly, there were no issues of using Jdev 11.1.1.9 . Am I right?
Please confirm.
Thanks,
Lalitha
