DB Performance Monitoring Metrices

Dear Experts,
We completed DB patching activity.
We need to gather DB Performance Metrices before and after Patching by using OEM.
There are multiple tabs under performance, where do i find DB performance measured/monitoring metrices by using OEM 13c ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
It all depends on what exact metrics you want to validate.
+ The basic navigation to validate your DB performance is the Performance Home page.
Performance Menu --> Performance Home
Here you can see some of the details of how your DB is performing.
+ If you want to validate more details, then you can navigate to Performance Hub OR Top Activity page based on the DB plugin version you are using..
Performance Menu --> Performance Hub (If you are using the 13.3.2 DB Plugin)
Under this you can find the ASH Analytics & SQL Monitoring
Performance Menu --> Top Activity (If you are using the 13.3.1 DB plugin)
These pages will give you more details data how your DB is performing.
+ If you are looking for more metrics at DB level to validate any specific metric, then you can navigate to:
Database Home Page --> oracle database drop down --> Monitoring --> All Metric
Here you get the complete list of metrics available and you can drill down to a specific metric you want to see for current values.

Keep in mind that going to the Performance section of EM for your database requires you to license the optional Diagnostics Pack (well worth the cost in my opinion).
For before and after...you can always compare AWR reports. That is available in the Performance menu as well. And it does require the Diag Pack as well.
Cheers,
Brian
