Upgrade from OUD 11g to OUD 12c (12.2.1.3.0)
Good morning, everyone,
I need to upgrade from OUD 11g to OUD 12c (12.2.1.3.0). On the Oracle documentation there are the new features of OUD 12c but I would more need to know the possible features of OUD 11g that have been deprecated in the transition to OUD 12c. That way I can make a more accurate comparison between the two versions. Where can I find this information? Thank you in advance.

The only deprecated feature that I am aware of is the Password Notification Change plug-in (
oidpwdcn.dll) beginning in Oracle Unified Directory 12c (12.2.1.4.0). This is only important if you make use of EUS.The upgrade process has also been improved. Prior it was only available to upgrade from 11g to 12c PS3, then you could move to PS4. Now it has been made possible to move directly from 11g to 12cPS4 and is explained in the below KM Article:

thanks for your reply! So we can say that there should be no disasters when I upgrade to OUD 12c (12.2.1.3.0) ahahah. The only deprecations I found in 12.2.1.3.0 concern the use of two Javadocs and the use of ArisID Api, correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!
