    What exams?
    are they harder than the ones in English language?
    If an exam is translated correctly by people knowing both languages as well as the subject under examination very well, there should be no difference to someone who is equally fluent in both languages.

    That's of course a set of preconditions that have to be met by both exam and the person being subjected to that exam.

    No. Tamil is not the national language of any country to my knowledge. And the webpage for SCJP mentions the languages in which it is allowed.

    I'd like to register a formal complaint: the Twents accent and the Frysian
    language as well as the Lingua Franca 'plat Haags' are not allowed either:

    1) Doet dit graftakkuh ding ut?
       pubiek noks nada meein(Lettertjus motjejoh) { }
    2) Doet dittut?
       int i= (new Dingetjuh() != naks)?1:0;
    3) Welkuh kankah mongowl sgrehft dit:
       int i= 1, int j= 2, growtste= (i < j)?j:i;
    kind regards,

    Jos (sorry, just a bit of local humour ;-)

    Hoe durf je Twents, een edele taal, met Fries, een verbasterd dialect, te vergelijken?

    Ik versta van beide dialecten helemaal niets; dus in zoverre zijn ze wel
    prima te vergelijken ;-)

    vriendelijke groet,

    I have lost my credentials as "oalexandrino".

    I was not sure to choice the language of exam, finally "english language" was my choice!

    In order to tell my experience when I got SCJP I created another login.

    So, I'm a Portuguese speaker, and I can say that There is NO problem with the English language when you will take your exam.

    but Actually, I don't know anyone that has made that exam in Portuguese language.

    My advice is:

    don't try to do your exam in your native language!
    The level of English language is VERY EASY!

    improve your English!

    Regards!

    That's a good advice. Eventually all the documentation you need to read is predominantly English. The only other language in which the documentation is available is Japanese and I heard from someone that it is better to read the English version of the documentation than the Japanese one.
