Java Virtual Machine launcher error-main class

Hello
Whenever one switches ON PC (with windows XP (The PC is attached to an instrument)), it shows error, continously popping with window Title:
'Java virtual Machine Launcher', & the error is -'Could not find the main class,Program will exit'.
and upto that time no applications could be open. It goes off after few minutes.
What is the cause of such error, what is the remedy, kindly suggest?

There may be some program getting called on windows startup. And that program is not able to start due to some issues. There is one utility msconfig to see all stuff which window loads @ startup. You can use that to identify the program and then disable or correct that.
