PKIX path building failed

Hi,
I am trying to connect with e-bay sandbox for an educational project. I am getting a surprising error from last 4-hours. The error message is like the following:-

SendRequest IO Error:
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException:
PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderExce
ption: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Note that I am using jre1.5.0_11. I will be pleased if anybody help me fixing the error.
