i have used Microsoft's XML parser, which is good. There is also Xalan & transformix. i dont know abt transformix. but xalan is good to try.

It basically depends on what your requirement is. If you are looking for creating XML documents from a DTD or XML Schema, or direct XML document and if you are looking out for IDE's to help you, try XmlSpy, XMetal. These tools are good in validating your XML against a DTD or XML Schema. And if you are also very particular abt the Spec they support, check out their help document.
