    Hi,

you can find a good collection of XML database products here:

    http://www.rpbourret.com/xml/XMLDatabaseProds.htm

    See the section '2.1 Middleware'!

    With best regards

    Hi,
You can use the Rowset API:
    http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/earlyAccess/crs

With this API, you can use a "WebRowSet" which takes database query results and translates them into XML.
    (And vice-versa!)
There are a number of ways of getting the data into the WebRowSet, the javadocs are fairly comprehenisve.

To transform the resulting XML, (as with all XML), you use XSLT which comes in various flavours.

    Cheers
