Starting Oracle-job using PHP?

Hi,

is there any way to start a Oracle-job using PHP? We have to use the ora_*-functions of PHP because at using the oci-interface our Apache crashs. It seems there is no direct way, but maybe there is a workaround?

Argh, I hate it to give answers for my own questions

My workaround:

Create a dummy-pl/sql-procedure, which starts the job and call this procedure from PHP using the file()-funtion.
