Still you should open your own thread and not highjack somebody elses thread. For convinience you can link this thread in you own other thread. This also gives you the possibility to mark your own thread as answered if the topic is finished.

Though, it's a late post, I too have similar issues.
Post a new thread (this will be seen and be responded to by more regulars). If need be, add URL references to a related thread like this, to your new thread posting.
Also add a copy-and-paste of a testcase/sample code that demonstrates the problem. Include your 4 digit database version.I made sure that the other schemas have the execute privilege on DBMS_SYS_SQL package and it's qualified as "sys.dbms_sys_sql.parse_as_user" when it is called.That is a HORRIBLE mistake and MAJOR security risks. Do NOT, under ANY circumstances, grant access to standard application and database schemas to DBMS_SYS_SQL.
