Does anyone know how to publish a JMS queue? Thanks.Yes, I do. But rather than write a long posting describing how to use the JMS API. I'd like to invite you to read the JMS tutorial:
http://download.oracle.com/javaee/1.3/jms/tutorial/index.html
Look particularly at
http://download.oracle.com/javaee/1.3/jms/tutorial/1_3_1-fcs/doc/client.html

Publishing a JMS queue is JMS provider / server specific. So publish a JMS queue... on what? An application server? If so, which one? Or standalone JMS server? If so, which one?
-
I'm new to Oracle Service Bus and been working it around for a month only. I want to publish a JMS queue from the proxy service. A sample output would look like this one:
<001>
<John Doe/>
<SOA for Dummies/>
<2011-09-30/>
</001>
It's a Library System.
Sorry guys, first time in middleware environment....
cheers... -
Do you mean make a JMS queue publicly available? which is a JNDI operation? or publish data to a JMS queue?
-
I need to publish a request through a JMS queue. I am thinking of a Point-to-Point method.

So you use the JMS API to define the queue, register it somewhere via JNDI, then you use the JMS API to publish messages to the queue. What specific problem are you having with it?
