What does a pattern have to do with this? What pattern?

One is Sun Certified Java Programmer, the other is Oracle Certfied Java Programmer. They are the same thing, but since the change of company it is logical that the name "Sun" is replaced by "Oracle" where possible. It may take some time for this change to pass to all external information systems though (such as those of examination centers).

    Thanks for your quick reply.

Till now i am thinking like , both are different certifications and also different examination pattern. From your ans can i thought certification name only changed but the format of the exam is same.

    is it right

Both certifications are same. Oracle has changed the exam code only but the exam objectives are same. You need to pass 1Z0-851 exam which was earlier CX-310-065. Oracle has not changed the exam objectives, so you can take this exam if you have prepared for 310-065.
