sqlplus: error while loading shared libraries: libclntsh.so.11.1: cannot op

Hi,

I have installed oracle 11g 32 bit software on linux 32 bit server

i am getting the below error while invoking sqlplus

bash#sqlplus
sqlplus: error while loading shared libraries: libclntsh.so.11.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

please can anybody give any inputs
