How to Refer to List Entry Text

john2013May 23 2013 — edited Jun 6 2013
Hi, all:

I have created a static list (shared components). Each entry is entered manually as static text.
the target string is as below:

f?p=&APP_ID.:205:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.::P10_BTN:RPT_01:

page item P10_BTN will be set to RPT_01 when list entry 1 is clicked and page 205 will show up.

I would like to show the text of clicked list entry in page 205.
I know I can set P10_BTN to this text, but it's very long, not sure I should do it this way.

Is there other way to refer to the clicked list entry text in target page 205?

I am on APEX 4.2.1 with database 10.2.0.5

Thanks,
John
